I don't know what to say about this one. I doubt you'll ever even read this. I'm sorry to say about what has happened between us. We were so close and it's turned out this way. There were times we drifted but I'm glad we found each other again. We've shared many obsessions and been very hyperactive over them. Random book update [] [ mood | confused ] [ music | How's it gonna be by Third Eye Blind ] It really amuses one when one is reading a book (Nineteen Eighty Four) wherein the main character (Winston) is reading a book (The Book) out loud to his girlfriend (Julia). The amusing part comes to one when suddenly mid-sentence it phases out and the main character notices that his girlfriend is very still and is, in fact, asleep. Does that not tell one that even the author of the book knew that the book the main character was reading was boring? It was rather muddled to say the least. But, alas... I am getting near the end now. I have had nothing better to do than to read it. I have a comment on the book though- Orwell loved oxymorons. In his book it is described as doublethink and even when a doublethink is described he never uses the word oxymoron, but it is exactly what it is. It was described as: 'This peculiar linking-together of opposites- knowledge with ignorance, cynicism with fanaticism' 0 reply?

A picture post... [] [ mood | content ] [ music | Slide by Goo Goo Dolls ] To stop you all wanting to kill me I'm going to stick this in a cut... But, first, about yesterday: Yesterday rocked, it was the first time ever I didn't want to leave tutor. We went on a rescue mission to steal the CD player from the other group to stop them playing their awful music, we took loads of pictures and just had a fun time. But, alas, we just had to go. In RE we took a few more pictures and then watched a film. The others all went round the front at break while Sazii and I went round near English as we had English next. In English we just proceeded to read Nineteen Eighty Four (George Orwell)... unfortunately I was a lot further ahead than everyone else... We then had Physics where we just did what we liked and took a few more pictures before we went back to tutor. Tutor then was 20 minutes, we took a few more pictures (none of which are below) and then went home at 1. After that a few of us went to a field where the guys were playing cricket and messed around. Okay for now [] [ mood | working ] [ music | Don't give up by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush ] Well, the last few days have been okay really. On Wednesday we all went to Cambridge University- well, Sarah, Vicky, Andy, Rachie and I went. It was cool looking around. Everyone in Cambridge rides bicycles, that's funny. You're not allowed on the grass there either- but lecturers are I think. On Thursday school was okay except I felt pretty ill. After school I spent hours doing my IT work, I still have so much to do. I did: Date/time, wallpapers, screensaver, user account with password, installing a printer, creating and organising folders and creating a backup. I still have to create a macro and make a template. Only bad thing about doing these at home is that I get all of her (Tori, our imaginary customer- we're IT consultants) stupid settings on my computer. I have a user account for Tori, I have templates for her, a screensaver created for her (which meant I had to clear out all of my pictures- I needed to anyway though... that drive was getting full so I had to change it.) I also had to change the name of my computer. It's had many names, it changes often. But for the past few months it has been Smithy... but when I did a printer testpage it actually called my computer Smithy, that seemed too odd. I may rename my poor compy though. If you have any suggestions then feel free to tell me... As for today, it was okay. Rugby was really good... I wasn't cold either because I had Phil's rugby top. Bless him, I said he could have it.. but Vicky convinced him to give it to me. Then in tutor Vicky, Natalie and I styled Stuart's hair and it looked brilliant! 0 reply?

Argh! [] [ mood | cranky ] [ music | Sand and Water by Beth Neilson Chapman ] Mum keeps talking to me about meeting Paul. In French today Rachie and I discovered that there was exactly 13 years between Paul and I and then 13 years between he and my mum. I still think it's twisted. Whatever she says, I won't meet him unless I have someone with me. But would any of my friends go with me? I don't know. It would be awkward for them wouldn't it? I wouldn't want to force them into a horrible situation. I have St John in just over an hour. I want to try and be with Marc as much as I can. I don't know when he's leaving but it's soon and that scares me. I am really going to miss him. Yesterday I cleared a lot of stuff out of my room and re-organised my shelves. My shelves are purty now, even if all of my books don't fit. 0 reply?
